Social Media at ViaTec Awards

We did a pretty cool shoot for Viatec last week. Viatec had their annual awards ceremony at the
Victoria Conference centre. What was cool about the shoot was that it was all reported in real time via social media sites like twitter, flickr and facebook.
So all the shots we took were edited on the spot, post processed and uploaded right away. This is of course normal for photojournalists, but for commercial photographers the thought of instantly uploading is rather daunting. Well it was a great experience and everything worked flawlessly so we were happy.

i thought the photos were terrible... both in quality and in comprehensiveness of coverage.

i've got nothing against you or your company personally, obviously, i was just seriously disappointed in the results.

ok, to be fair.. it was the conference photos i saw and didn't think were strong... not the awards one. my bad. the photo of the guy in the throne is awesome. seriously not a hater! :)
